SwingCare
From idea to a product that plays for the player

An iOS + Android + Apple Watch mobile app for AI-powered rehabilitation and golf injury prevention. Built in collaboration with UK coaches and Czech sports physiotherapists.
Project in numbers
Development time
Pages of scientific materials processed by AI
Hours of online lectures analyzed by AI
More relevant training suggestions
Better improvement than with a regular coach
Origin of the project
The project was created in collaboration with a British client, a team of UK coaches with professional golf experience, and a group of Czech sports physiotherapists. The British side brought deep golf training know-how and a clear understanding of the local market. The Czech physiotherapists provided the scientific foundation: clinical protocols, rehabilitation processes, and a database of movement patterns.
We came in as a tech partner and are leaving as the product's co-founders.We processed 82,000 pages of scientific materials and 320 hours of online lectures on sports physiology, golf biomechanics, and physiotherapy. That became the foundation for an AI model that understands movement, not just generic recommendations.
Key insight from the research
The average amateur golfer plays 40+ rounds a year and ignores the body's warning signs until the pain becomes unbearable. At that point, they spend 5-15x more on physiotherapy than regular prehab would cost. SwingCare enters the moment before pain, and that is its business model too.
- iOS & Android – Flutter cross-platform
- Apple Watch – native Swift / WatchOS integration
- AI Rehab Engine – fine-tuned model trained on scientific data
- Backend & Frontend – React.js and Node.js running on AWS infrastructure
How we worked
01
Discovery Sprint
Every good product needs the right beginning. So we first spent several days at one table with the client, talking to golfers, asking about their pain points, understanding who the future users were and what they actually needed. That gave us a clear plan for what we would build, for whom, and why.
02
Product & brand strategy
Only then did the name, visual identity, and communication tone come in. SwingCare is not just an app. It is a brand with a clear voice and a clear promise. Before we wrote a single line of code, the future product already had its story and a waitlist with the first hundreds of interested users.
03
AI architecture & MVP development
Then development began. The entire core of the app is built on data from Apple Watch sensors and AI that can interpret it, along with the scientific foundation we assembled for that purpose. The result is an app that truly understands a specific person's movement, not just general advice.
04
Launch & first data
The launch was not a random shot. We prepared it to have as much impact as possible on day one, and then we watched closely how the first users behaved in the product. What did not work, we fixed quickly. What worked, we doubled down on.
05
Growth & scale
And that is where we continue. We remain the partner thinking about what comes next: where the app will grow, which new sports will be added, and how the product will reach golf clubs. Because a good product is never really finished.
Design system
AI in the product
AI is not a buzzword in SwingCare. It is the core product. Every feature is built on data from Apple Watch sensors.
Apple Watch records every swing using the gyroscope and accelerometer. AI detects compensations such as back overload or shoulder asymmetry and connects them with the user's pain history. The result is a personalized rehab plan.
Before every game, the app offers a five-minute dynamic warm-up focused precisely on the stiff areas of that specific player.
AI generates a physiotherapy plan tailored to the player and updates it with every new swing analysis.
We evaluate all game or training data in context and use AI to analyze the player's swing.
